Established in May 2013 we are based at Lilford Park in Leigh and St Peters Pavilion in Wigan.

• Our staff have qualifications in care and horticulture and have full criminal record checks.
• We provide high levels of support. Groups are 1 staff member to no more than 3 Crew Members.
• Green Crew provide real, meaningful activities in the community.

We open 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9-4pm

• All of our activities are risk-managed
• We have a fantastic resource at St Peters Pavilion and Lilford Park, Leigh including:
  • Large polytunnel
  • Nursery beds
  • Extensive grassed areas
  • Vegetable garden
  • Crew room where we plan the day and have the all-important brew!
  • Tool store
  • Vehicles
• Our staff are dedicated, professionally trained and friendly
• We provide all safety equipment including boots, safety glasses, helmets, waterproofs and gloves
• We provide genuine green themed off-site activities in fantastic locations, such as
  • Conservation
  • Path construction
  • Path maintenance
  • Tree work
  • Hedge layering
  • Habitat management
  • Planting
  • Gardening
• All Crew Members are involved in planning our activities
• We work with many partners to provide meaningful community based activities that make a real difference, including:
  • Canal & River Trust, Wildlife Trust, Greenheart, Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust, Wigan Council, Wigan & Leigh Homes, Groundwork, Friends of Low Hall, Friends of Amberswood Common, Friends of Lilford Park, Friends of Leyland Park, Haigh Walled Gardens (inc. Friends of), Lancashire Mining Museum, Widdows Flash disabled anglers, Think Ahead and many others…
